Day 1: Arrival in Gwalior –Upon arrival at Gwalior Airport, you will be met by a representative who will assist you with transfer to your hotel in Gwalior. Once you have checked in and refreshed, you can start exploring Gwalior.
Gwalior is a historically rich city known for its magnificent forts, palaces and temples. Some of the must-visit attractions include the majestic Gwalior Fort, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city. You can explore the intricately designed temples within the fort, such as the Saas-Bahu Temple and Teli Ka Mandir.
Another famous attraction in Gwalior is the Jai Vilas Palace, known for its grandeur and museum displaying a remarkable collection of artifacts. Other points of interest include the Gujari Mahal Archaeological Museum, Man Singh Palace and Tansen’s Tomb. After a full day of sightseeing, you can retire to your hotel in Gwalior for the night.

Day 2: Gwalior to Datia After breakfast, drive towards Datia, a town approximately 70 kilometers from Gwalior. Datia is famous for the Maa Pitambara & Baglamukhi Temple, which is considered a significant Shaktipeeth in India. After reaching Datia and checking into your hotel, you will have some free time.
In the evening, you can immerse yourself in the spiritual atmosphere by attending an Aarti (devotion ceremony) at the Maa Pitambara and Baglamukhi Temple. The temple is dedicated to Maa Pitambara Devi, an incarnation of goddess Durga and Maa Baglamukha, who is believed to have the power to give victory and fulfill desires. Aarti offers a serene and soul-stirring experience. You will then return to your hotel in Datia for your overnight stay.

Day 3: Datia to Orchha Begin your day with a morning visit to Maa Pitambara and Baglamukhi Temple for blessings. Experience the tranquility and spiritual atmosphere of the temple complex before returning to your hotel for breakfast.
You will then head to the charming town of Orchha, located about 100 kilometers from Datia. Orchha is famous for its rich historical heritage and architectural wonders. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and rest.
Later, take a sightseeing tour of Orchha that will take you back in time. Explore the magnificent Orchha Fort, consisting of several palaces, temples and gardens. Admire the stunning architectural details of the Raj Mahal, Jehangir Mahal, and Rai Praveen Mahal.

Day 4: Orchha to Khajuraho After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to the charming city of Khajuraho, located about 170 kilometers from Orchha. Khajuraho is famous for a group of temples decorated with intricate and exquisite carvings depicting human emotions, divine deities and mythological scenes.
Upon reaching Khajuraho, check into your hotel and freshen up. In the evening, you can attend the mesmerizing Shiv Aarti (dedication ceremony) at the Mataageshwar Temple, where you can witness rhythmic chanting and rituals. Alternatively, you can enjoy a sound and light show that tells the history and significance of the Khajuraho temples.

Day 5: Bageshwar Dham Today you will embark on a day trip to Bageshwar Dham, a famous Hindu pilgrimage site located near Khajuraho. Bageshwar Dham is dedicated to Lord Shiva and attracts devotees from afar. The temple complex is surrounded by natural beauty, providing a serene and peaceful atmosphere for prayer and contemplation.
After exploring Bageshwar Dham, you will return to Khajuraho for your overnight stay.

Day 6: Khajuraho to Maa Sharda-Maihar In the morning, after breakfast, you will have the opportunity to visit the famous temples of Khajuraho, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire the intricate carvings and carvings that represent various aspects of life, love, and spirituality. The temples are divided into western, eastern and southern groups, each of which presents unique architectural styles.
You will then take a scenic drive to Maa Sharda-Maihar, located approximately 170 kilometers from Khajuraho. Maa Sharda-Maihar is a revered pilgrimage site dedicated to Maa Sharda, the goddess of knowledge and wisdom. Upon arrival, visit the Maa Sharda Temple and ask for a blessing. The temple is located on top of a hill and offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.
In the evening, you can visit the local market and shop for traditional handicrafts and souvenirs. Overnight in Maihar.

Day 7: Maa Sharda-Maihar to Khajuraho Airport On the last day, visit Maa Sharda Shaktipeeth in the morning to pray and ask for divine blessings. Experience the peaceful and spiritual atmosphere of the temple before returning to your hotel for breakfast.
Then, check out of your hotel and head to Khajuraho Airport for your onward journey. Board the plane with beautiful memories of visiting Maa Pitambar and Baglamukhi Shaktipeeth and other enchanting places in Madhya Pradesh.
