Day 01: Arrival in Varanasi – Durga Temple

When we arrive at the spiritual city of Varanasi, we are greeted with a sense of calmness and devotion. After checking in at the hotel and refreshing, we head to the famous Durga Temple. Dedicated to the goddess Durga, this temple exudes tranquility in the bustling streets of Varanasi. The deity’s beautifully carved idol fills devotees with a sense of reverence and awe.

In the evening we experience the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti in the ghats of the Ganges River. The twinkling lamps and the singing of hymns create a captivating atmosphere, leaving an indelible impression on our hearts.

Day 02: Vindhyachal – Maa Vidhyavashini Temple

Leaving Varanasi, we travel to Vindhyachal, a place revered as Shakti Peetha. Here we seek blessings at the Maa Vidhyavashini temple where Devi is worshiped as the bestower of knowledge and wisdom. The architecture of the temple and the surrounding nature create a soothing atmosphere.

Day 03: Maihar – Maa Sharda Temple

Then we will go to Maihar, where the famous Maa Sharda Temple is located. Built on the hill of Trikuta, the temple is dedicated to the goddess Saraswati, the goddess of science and arts. The breathtaking view from the top of the hill adds to the spiritual experience as devotees seek the blessings of wisdom and success in their endeavors.

Day 04: Khajuraho – Chausath Yogini Temple

Traveling to the charming town of Khajuraho, we visit the Chausath Yogini Temple. Dedicated to 64 yoginis or mystics, this unique temple is one of the oldest surviving structures in the Khajuraho complex. The intricate sculptures and architectural brilliance of this temple arouse admiration and take us back in time to an era of deep spirituality.

Day 05: Orchha – Ram Raja Temple

Continuing our journey, we reach the historic town of Orchha. Here we visit the holy temple of Ram Raja, a unique wonder where Lord Rama is worshiped as king. The magnificence of the temple and the legends associated with it add charm to this spiritual place.

Day 06: Datia – Pitambara Temple

Our next destination is Datia, where we pay our respects at the Pitambara Temple, dedicated to the Goddess Baglamukha. The temple’s vibrant architecture and divine aura create a sense of serenity and fulfillment.

Day 07-08: Gwalior – Gwalior Fort and more

As we arrive in Gwalior, we are greeted by the imposing Gwalior Fort, perched high on top of a hill. The great architecture of the fort and its historical significance make it a must-visit place. At the fort, we visit the various palaces, temples and architectural wonders that showcase Gwalior’s rich heritage.

In Gwalior, we will also visit the Sas-Bahu Temple, known for its intricate carvings, and Teli Ka Mandir, boasting a unique mix of architectural styles. Jai Vilas Palace in Gwalior, decorated with rich decorations, is another highlight of our trip.

Day 09: Tour to Gwalior – Suraj Kund and Bateshwar temples

Departing from Gwalior, we visit Suraj Kund, a beautiful step well surrounded by lush greenery. The peaceful setting and historic significance of this place make it a great stop.

Then we will go to Bateshwar Temples, a complex of over 200 ancient temples dedicated to various deities. The serene atmosphere and intricate architecture of these temples leave us spellbound.

Day 10: Departure

With our hearts filled with spiritual experiences and our minds enriched by the wonders of culture, it is time to say goodbye to this soul-stirring journey. Leaving Gwalior, we carry precious memories and blessings of divinity as we return to our destinations.

During these ten days, we discovered the deep spirituality and architectural brilliance of some of India’s most revered sites. This spiritual and cultural journey not only strengthened our faith but also deepened our appreciation for the rich heritage and traditions of this amazing land.
