Day 01: Delhi to Varanasi

Day 02: Morning Ganga Arti, sightseeing Varanasi , & Sarnath

Varanasi is one of the world’s oldest continually inhabited cities. Kashi, its ancient name, was associated with a kingdom of the same name of 2,500 years ago. The Lion capital of Ashoka at nearby Sarnath has been interpreted to be a commemoration of the Buddha’s first sermon there in the fifth century BCE.

particular note are the Dashashwamedh Ghat, the Panchganga Ghat, the Manikarnika Ghat, and the Harishchandra Ghat, the last two being where Hindus cremate their dead. The Hindu genealogy registers at Varanasi are kept here. Among the notable temples in Varanasi are Kashi Vishwanath Temple of Shiva, the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, BHU, and the Durga Temple.

Durga Mandir (Hindi also known as Durga Kund Mandir and Durga Temple, is one of the most famous temples in the holy city of Varanasi, Durga Mandir was constructed in the 18th century (exact date of construction not known) by a Hindu Bengali Rani- Rani Bhabani of Natore. (Bengali queen). The temple was built in North Indian Nagara style of architecture. The temple is painted red with ochre to match the colours of the central icon of Durga, the goddess of strength and power. Inside the temple, many elaborately carved and engraved stones can be found. The temple is made up of many small sikharas, conjoined together.

Day 03: Varanasi to Maa Sharda Maihar en-route visit Maa Vidhyavashini-Vindhyachal

Pickup from Varanasi – start early and drive towards Vindhyavashin, Uttar Pradesh, Temple, also known as Maa Vindhyavasini Temple and Vindhyachal Dham, is a Hindu temple dedicated to the mother goddess Vindhyavasini, situated on the bank of river Ganga at Vindhyachal in Mirzapur district, Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the Shakti Pitha temples in India, Vindhyavashin temple to drive Maa Sharda Maihar, Overnight stay Maihar.

Day 04: Maa Sharda Maihar to  Panna

It is said that when lord Shiva was carrying the body of the dead mother goddess (Mai in Hindi) Sati, her necklace (har in Hindi) fell at this place and hence the name “Maihar” (Maihar = Mai+Har, meaning the “necklace of mother”). there is also one fact about Maihar, that is related to famous Warriors Alha and his brother Udal, Maihar to drive Panna, Overnight stay Panna.

Day 05: Maa Sharda Maihar to Khajuraho

Day 06: World Heritage & Chausath Yogini Temple-Khajuraho

Morning sightseeing of World Heritage site “The Khajuraho Group of Monuments “has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986 and is considered one of  The “seven wonders” of India. The town’s name, anciently “Kharjuravahaka”, is derived from the Sanskrit word kharjur meaning “date palm”.

Kandariya Mahadev Tempel, Laksman Temple, Vishwanath Temple, Matangeshwar Mahadev Temple,Devi Jagdambi Temple, Chausath Yogini temple , Adinath, Shatinath and Parshavanatha Temple.

The Chausath Yogini temple is a ruined Yogini temple in the Khajuraho town of Madhya Pradesh, India. Dated to the late 9th century, it is the oldest surviving temple at Khajuraho.

The temple is made of large, coarse granite blocks, with an open courtyard at the centre.

No sculptures remain among the temple ruins. Three large statues of mother goddesses or Matrikas, found among the ruins, are now in the Khajuraho museum.

Day 07: Khajuraho to Orchha 

After Breakfast  drive to Orchha, On arrival in Orchha check into your hotel, afternoon Sightseeing Orchha monuments.

Raja Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Jahagir Mahal,Pravin Rai Mahal, Chaturbhuj Temple, Laksminarayan Temple,and Ramraja Temple.

Ramraja Temple-  In India this is the only temple where Lord Rama is worshiped as a king and that too in a palace. A Guard of Honour is held every day, police personnel have been designated as Guards at the temple, much in the manner of a king. The food and other amenities provided to the deity at the temple are a royal repast. Armed salutation is provided to Lord Ram every day, overnight stay Orchha.

Day 08: Orchha to Datia Pitambara Temple-Maglamukhi Temple

Morning drive to Datias Shri Peetambara Peetha is one of the most famous temples of Baglamukhi which was established by Shree Swami Ji in 1920s. He also established the temple of goddess Dhumavati within the ashram.

Dhumavati and Bagalamukhi are the two of the ten Mahavidyas. In addition to those, there are temples of Parshuram, Hanuman, Kal Bhairav and other god and goddess spread across the large area of Ashram, Overnight stay Datia.

Day 09: Datia to Gwalior

After Breakfast drive to Gwalior, check into your hotel Gwalior, sightseeing of  Gwalior

It’s known for its palaces and temples, including the Sas Bahu Ka Mandir intricately carved Hindu temple. Ancient Gwalior Fort occupies a sandstone plateau overlooking the city and is accessed via a winding road lined with sacred Jain statues. Within the fort’s high walls is the 15th-century Gujari Mahal Palace, now an archaeological museum, also visit Jai Vilas.

Day 10: Gwalior to Mumbai/ Delhi/ Bangalore/ Chennai.
