6 Days Mahakaleshwar & Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Tour – Spiritual Pilgrimage
Day 1: Arrival in Indore-
Your tour will begin upon arrival in Indore, where you will be met by our representative who will assist you with your transfer to your hotel. After checking in, spend the rest of the day exploring the vibrant city of Indore. You can visit popular attractions such as Rajwada Palace, Lal Bagh Palace, or get some retail therapy at the bustling markets.
Day 2: Indore to Ujjain (55 km, 1.5 hours)-
After breakfast, drive to Ujjain, a city famous for the revered Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and a moment of relaxation. In the evening, visit the Mahakaleshwar Temple and witness the divine Bhasma Aarti, a ritual where Lord Shiva is adorned with sacred ashes. Seek the blessings and immerse yourself in the spiritual atmosphere of the temple. Overnight in Ujjain.
Day 3: Sightseeing Ujjain-
Start your day with a visit to the iconic Kal Bhairav Temple, dedicated to Lord Bhairava, the incarnation of Lord Shiva. Explore the intricate architecture and learn about the temple’s rich history. Later, visit other significant temples in Ujjain such as Harsiddhi Temple and Mangalnath Temple. In the evening, take a boat ride on the peaceful Shipra River and see the enchanting Ganga Aarti. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Ujjain.
Day 4: Ujjain to Omkareshwar (150 km, 3.5 hours)-
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and head towards Omkareshwar, another revered Jyotirlinga located on an island in the Narmada River. Upon reaching Omkareshwar, check into your hotel and freshen up. Later, visit the Omkareshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and discover the intricate carvings and architectural splendor of the temple. Spend a quiet evening by the riverside and watch evening aarti at the temple. Overnight in Omkareshwar.
Day 5: Sightseeing Omkareshwar and return to Indore (80 km, 2 hours)-
After breakfast, we set out to explore Omkareshwar. Visit the Mamleshwar Temple, located on the opposite bank of the Omkareshwar Temple, and ask for a blessing. Take a walk through the narrow streets, shop for souvenirs and enjoy local delicacies. Say goodbye to Omkareshwar in the afternoon and return to Indore, Overnight in Indore.
Day 6: Departure from Indore-
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Indore airport or train station for onward travel. With unforgettable memories from the Ujjain Mahakal and Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga tour, bid farewell to Madhya Pradesh, taking with you a sense of peace and spiritual bliss.
